01 What it is
Where Solana runs, and who is producing blocks right now.
ValidatorGlobe places every staked Solana validator on a 3D globe at the approximate location of its server. Pillars rise with stake, a gold beam marks the validator producing blocks at this moment, and the leader schedule plays out as arcs travelling from one data center to the next. Everything on the globe is read from Solana mainnet. Nothing is simulated.
- For stakersSee how stake is spread across countries, metros and client software before you delegate, then open any validator for its commission and skip rate.
- For operatorsFind your node and check how the network sees it: client, version, location, delinquency and a countdown to its next leader slot.
- For researchersThe Nakamoto coefficient, the superminority and the client mix, recalculated from live vote accounts every five minutes.
- The question it answersWhere does Solana's consensus physically live, and which validator holds the pen right now?
02 What you're looking at
Reading the globe
Every shape and colour maps to a number from the chain. Hover a pillar for its name, click it for the full card.
Pillar = one validator
Height grows with the square root of its activated stake, so the largest validators stand tall without flattening everyone else. Validators in the same metro are fanned out in a small spiral, biggest at the centre.
Pillar colour = the “Color by” switch
- Status
- voting delinquent (stopped voting)
- Client
- Agave Jito-Agave Agave BAM Harmonic Firedancer family other / unknown
- Commission
- 0% · 5% · 10% · 100%
- Skip rate
- 0% · 1% · 4% · 10%+ no leader slots yet this epoch
Gold beam = current slot leader
The validator producing blocks right now, with a shockwave at each handoff. The next three leaders glow faintly gold.
Gold arc = leadership handing over
When the schedule moves to a new leader, a bright head travels from the previous leader to the next one.
Cyan ring = a metro site
Validators within 75 km are grouped into one site. The ring grows with the site's stake and with how many validators run there.
Blue arcs = nearest neighbours
Each major site links to its two nearest major sites under 2,600 km. They illustrate geography; they are not measured network routes.
Glowing land = stake nearby
Land dots brighten and swell near heavy concentrations of stake: a heat map of where the network's weight sits.
Violet dots = non-voting nodes
RPC servers and other unstaked gossip nodes, grouped by location and sized by count. Toggle them with “+ RPC nodes”.
Tilted orbit = epoch progress
The gold share of the ring is the part of the current epoch already elapsed; the epoch number rides its head.
Dimmed pillars = filtered out
Superminority, Delinquent and Firedancer filters dim everything that doesn't match instead of removing it, so the map keeps its shape.
Violet diamond = your watchlist
Validators you pinned with the Watchlist unlock. They also get a ★ in the leader queue.
SLOT and EPOCH pills
The latest processed slot, counted forward between server updates at the measured slot time, and the share of the epoch completed. There is no sound; motion is decorative and slows down with reduced-motion settings.
03 How it works
From the cluster to your screen
- 1
Solana mainnet RPC
- getVoteAccounts stake, commission, delinquency · 5 min
- getClusterNodes gossip IP, client, version · 15 min
- getBlockProduction leader slots vs blocks · 10 min
- getSlot live slot · 8 s
- getSlotLeaders next 1,200 slots, refreshed before they run out
- validator-info names and websites · 6 h
- 2
Offline geolocation
The DB-IP City Lite database is downloaded once to the server. Each validator's gossip IP is looked up locally and cached, so no address is ever sent to a geolocation service.
- 3
One shared server
A single poll loop builds one gzipped snapshot (ETag-cached) and streams the live slot and leader schedule over Server-Sent Events. About 8 RPC calls a minute at idle, however many people are watching.
- 4
Your browser
three.js draws the globe in WebGL. The slot counter and the current leader are worked out locally from the schedule and the measured slot time, so the beam moves on time between updates.
Limits worth knowing
- Locations are approximate. IP geolocation is city-level at best and usually points to a data center's metro, not a building.
- A validator needs a public gossip address to be placed. Those without one still count in every total, they just have no pillar.
- Names and websites are self-published on-chain through validator-info and are not verified by anyone.
- Stake, commission and delinquency refresh every 5 minutes, the node list every 15, skip rates every 10. The slot and the leader are continuous.
- Skip rate covers the current epoch so far. Early in an epoch it rests on few leader slots.

50,000 $VGburned from your wallet = 30 days. Burning again adds another 30 days on top.
Coming soonThe Watchlist opens when the coin is live. Planned price: 50,000 $VG for 30 days, stacking.
06 The coin
What $VG does here
$VG has one job in ValidatorGlobe: unlocking the Watchlist by being burned. You burn it from your own wallet, in your own transaction. Nobody receives the tokens, including us; they are destroyed on-chain, and the server only grants the unlock after reading that burn back from the chain.
- Sign inYour wallet signs a plain-text message. It is free and cannot move funds.
- ReviewThe server builds an unsigned transaction: burnChecked for exactly 50,000 tokens plus a memo. You see the amount before your wallet opens.
- BurnYour wallet signs and sends it. You pay the network fee; the tokens are gone.
- VerifiedThe server checks the mint, amount, signer, age and that the signature was never used before, then unlocks 30 days.
Public burn ledger
Every unlock burn is listed with its Solscan link, next to the coin's current supply. For pump.fun coins, which launch with 1,000,000,000 tokens, it also shows the total burned on-chain as 1B minus the current supply. That figure also covers any burns the team does from creator fees; it is not a promise that any will happen.
Contract
Burning destroys tokens permanently. It gives no return, revenue share or financial right. The free version stays free.
07 Privacy & safety
What this site never does
No custody
The server holds no keys and never receives tokens. It cannot move anything in your wallet.
No seed phrase, ever
Nothing here asks for a seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is not us.
Free sign-in
Signing in is a message signature that names this site, its purpose and a single-use code valid for 5 minutes. It cannot approve a transaction. Your session is a signed HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie that lasts 24 hours.
Burns shown first
The exact token amount and the words “These tokens are destroyed forever” appear before your wallet asks you to sign.
RPC stays server-side
The browser only talks to this site. The RPC endpoint and its key never reach the page, and there are no analytics or trackers. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
What is stored
Only for wallets that burn: the wallet address, unlock expiry, the burn's signature, amount and time (the public ledger keeps the latest 500), used signatures to block replays, and your pinned validators. Rate-limit counters stay in memory. The location cache covers validator IPs, never visitors.
08 FAQ
Questions
Is the data live?
Yes. The slot is polled every 8 seconds and counted forward in between, and the leader schedule is fetched ahead, so the gold beam changes hands on time. Stake, commission and delinquency refresh every 5 minutes, skip rates every 10 and the list of nodes every 15.
Why is a validator missing, or in the wrong city?
To be placed, a validator must publish a gossip address the database can locate. IP geolocation is approximate and often lands on the data center's metro or the provider's registered city. Validators that are not in the current vote set are not listed at all. Everyone with stake still counts in the totals.
Does it cost anything?
No. The globe, every panel, search and filters are free with no sign-in. Only the Watchlist is unlocked, by burning $VG.
What is the Nakamoto coefficient?
The fewest validators whose combined stake exceeds one third of active stake, which is enough to halt consensus. Those validators form the superminority, which the Superminority filter highlights.
Which wallets work?
Wallets that support the Solana Wallet Standard with message signing and sign-and-send, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. An injected Phantom provider works as a fallback. On a phone, open this page in your wallet app's built-in browser.
What happens when I burn?
Your wallet sends a transaction that destroys 50,000 $VG from your own token account. Once it confirms, the server reads it from the chain, checks it and unlocks the Watchlist for 30 days. The burn appears in the public ledger. It cannot be undone and it is not a payment to anyone.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. On narrow screens the panels become a bottom sheet with tabs, and the renderer caps resolution and draws fewer stars on touch devices. If the frame rate drops, the resolution and then the bloom step down on their own.
